Harley Davidson Racing

HD motorcycles were raced almost from the beginning of the company. In fact, the first appearance of the motorcycle created by William Harley and the Davidson brothers, Arthur, Walter and William was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin motorcycle race.

HD has an official racing department in 1914, but before the co-founder Walter Davidson rode the stock single cylinder machine to victory in the Federation of American motorcycle endurance and reliability of the competition for 1908.
